Sharon’s work is heavily influenced by her passion for colour and the natural world. Her educational background is in Studio Art and Graphic Design.

She worked for many years as a commercial artist. Her art has appeared on retail textiles, ceramics, paper napkins, greeting cards, magazines and books, but since 2020 she has been focusing her efforts on her first and true love - painting.

Through her work she aims not to describe an exact likeness of her subject matter, but to evoke emotion and sense of place through colour, form, texture and line.

She lives in Victoria, Canada.
